Mel Gibson's son Christian recently suffered a burn injury while filming a baseball movie in Sonora, Mexico.
The 33-year-old cameraman was injured last month in the catering area during filming in Sonora Stadium in Hermosillo, producer Gastón Pavlovich told local publication Expreso.
'He burned his ankle. He had to return to Mexico City, but recovered very quickly. He's already more than good,' Pavlocich told the Spanish-language newspaper.
'Chris is perfect, nothing serious,' Pavlovich added.
DailyMail.com has reached out to a representative for Gibson for a comment.
Filming on the Spanish-language baseball film wrapped in late May.
The movie's title refers to the 108 stitches on a baseball and it stars 2010 Miss Universe Ximena Navarrete, Kuno Becker and Jose Angel Bichir.
Christian is one of Mel's seven children with ex-wife Robyn Moore - and has a twin brother Edward.
Christian was born in Australia and it appeared at first as though he might be following in his famous father's footsteps and become an actor.
He appeared alongside his famous dad in We Were Soldiers in 2002 and then a short film two years later called Billy's Day Out.
Christian has since moved behind the camera predominately working out of California and Mexico as a steady-cam operator.
He also has found work as a landscape photographer especially creating images of his native Australia.
