"Acting is like lying. The art of lying well. I'm paid to tell elaborate lies." - Mel Gibson
He grew a bushy mustache for film Dragged Across Concrete with co-star Vince Vaughn in Canada last month.
And on Thursday Mel Gibson also sported a grey beard when he was spotted running errands in Beverly Hills. The 61-year-old silver fox, who once lived in Australia, smiled as he walked along on the sunny day.
Mel wore a white shirt unbuttoned at the neck and showed off his knees in black shorts and matching black socks and sneakers. He carried what looked like a sweatshirt under his arm along with a pink water bottle to make sure he stayed hydrated.
Aside from cop crimer Dragged Across Concrete, Mel has three projects on the go. He will next be seen on the big screen in comedy Daddy's Home 2, co-starring Mark Wahlberg, due out on November 19. Mel also stars as Professor James Murray, who compiled the first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary in the mid 19th century, in biographical drama The Professor And The Madman.
And in the just announced Every Other Weekend, Mel returns to action hero form as a father on a trip to Paris with his son, who is forced to come clean about his job with the CIA when danger comes their way.
